The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities : GENERAL PURPOSE

Assists the Chief CRNA in providing administrative leadership for all staff CRNAs. Staff CRNAs provide anesthesia services to patients of all ages at Strong Memorial Hospital under the medical direction of members of the faculty of the Department of Anesthesiology of the University of Rochester Medical Center.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Leadership & Training :

• Assists with orienting new CRNAs to the department; completes initial competency review.
• Brings CRNA concerns to the attention of Chief Clinical Coordinator and Chief CRNA and serves as sounding board when problems arise.
• Serve as Crew Chief "CC" to be a point person for the CRNAs and assist with day-to-day OR choreography.
