What You’ll Do :

• Carrying out a detailed analysis of Eutelsat Group business needs across all Directorates Core Networks, Access & System Engineering, UT delivery to ensure Digital Products IT technology strategy is consistent with the needs of the business.
• Representing the Digital Products directorate at the highest levels both internally and externally, with personal responsibility for senior level engagement within Eutelsat Group.
• Supporting Corporate strategy by continuously engineering the most relevant IT capabilities in a rapidly changing marketplace.
• Staying on top of the latest trends and technologies and keeping an eye out for any software, services, hardware that might improve business processes : full awareness of the eTOM and TMF landscape.

Complex thinking and strategizing to ascertain which legacy systems can be updated, what software or hardware can be replaced, and which services or products will support business operations better.

• Providing technology and service roadmaps in terms of technology strategy, architecture, major innovation steps, future development, and technology assessments.
• Delivering expertise in key areas such as IT demand management, solutions architecture, applications roadmaps and IT strategy development.
• Analysing customer's business problems, specifying business requirements and their solution from a functional rather than technical perspective.
• Ensuring that all IT solutions conform with corporate and regulatory requirements and standards, together with maintaining plans for enterprise information systems and technology platforms including applications and data architectures.
• Implementing compliance and quality management controls to manage compliance of IT solutions developed by the Digital Products teams and 3rd party suppliers.
• Managing the budget for the Architecture function and performing Line management duties for direct reports typically, Lead architects.
• Accountability for developing and maintaining the solutions architecture function for IT applications and related business processes.
• Effectively supporting the business function in applying the right technology and technology services thereby ensuring the optimal total cost of ownership’ for the business.

What it Takes :

• Extensive experience in satellite communication protocols (LEO / GEO), network monitoring, and service assurance.
• Expertise in cloud architectures, APIs, and integration.
• Deep knowledge of OSS / BSS telco environments.
• Cloud computing, system architecture, strategy development, enterprise solutions.
• Proven leadership in enterprise architecture, with a strong ability to align technical strategies with business goals.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
• Cloud and networking certifications (AWS, Cisco, etc.).

What We’d Love :

• A broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience. Experience with gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with supporting the Program Management Office and Delivery Center of Excellence to identify and design development value streams.
• Skills to define measurable monitoring parameters to ensure the scalability of solutions.
• Experience in dealing with stakeholders and supporting them in reviews, workshops, and interviews. Experience in working with offshore delivery teams.
• Experience in the communications, media and technology domain especially in the enterprise grade B2B communication provider products.
• Successful track record in working with C-level executives.

Where You’ll Be :

• Digital Products Team in London, UK.
• Some international travel may be necessary.
