The Role :

The Facilities Team is required to maintain 3 building buildings and associated utilities equipment in support of a 24 hours per day manufacturing operation.

This position requires a wide diversity of hands experience and skills to perform trouble shooting of failed or poorly operating equipment, conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks, or performing general property up keep including painting, shoveling and other such routine repairs.

In this role you will :

• Engage with a variety of site functions such as EHS, Procurement, R&D, and Operations personnel to address general facilities work requests and or immediate equipment break fix requirements.
• Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and provide detailed commentary regarding findings and corrective actions taken to address the problem.
• Perform daily checks regarding the operation and performance conditions of a wide variety facilities equipment and enter the information gathered into electronic trending files.
• Perform defined preventative maintenance tasks per documented work instructions.
• Perform other facilities maintenance and or housekeeping tasks as required. May include but not limited to painting, drywall repairs, doors and window repairs, shoveling, coordination of Pest Control services, Landscaping Services, mechanical repairs, etc.
• Provide daily communication to other team members regarding any problems and or challenges incurred during the shift.
• Participate in the On-Call rotation schedule requiring scheduled building walk through checks and call in responses to immediate site sites as required.

Knowledge & Skills :

• Must have a basic level of understanding facilities systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers and compressors to perform initial trouble shooting and provide communication of issues to required service support personnel when needed.
• Must be able follow written work instructions to perform complex preventive maintenance tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills capable of providing daily communications through email, data entry and review using MS Excel.
• AutoCAD familiarity and basic use is a plus.
• SAP Preventive Maintenance System familiarity also a plus.
• Experience with working in and or familiarity of clean room environments also a plus.
• Previous experience with Building Management and CMMS software a plus
• Must maintain a valid driver's license be able service (3) facilities within a 5 mile radius.
