JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Nation, the exclusive on-demand streaming service of Fox News, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the continued development and growth of our streaming platform.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution to deliver a best-in-class streaming experience for our audience.

This role is critical to the success of Fox Nation, requiring deep knowledge of digital products, a passion for user experience, and strong leadership to guide cross-functional teams.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Strategy & Vision : Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Fox Nation's business objectives, focusing on enhancing user engagement, retention, and growth.
• Roadmap Ownership : Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements that drive meaningful results, with a focus on scaling and optimizing the streaming platform.
• Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead collaboration between design, engineering, marketing, content, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
• Customer Focus : Utilize data insights, user feedback, and market trends to deeply understand customer needs and preferences.

Advocate for users, ensuring that product decisions enhance the streaming experience.

• Feature Development : Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of new features, from ideation through to launch, iteration, and performance analysis, ensuring each feature aligns with strategic goals.
• Performance Optimization : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the platform. Work with engineering teams to ensure optimal playback quality, content discoverability, and seamless navigation.
• Analytics & KPIs : Define key performance metrics (KPIs) and use data to assess the performance of features and product initiatives.

Continuously monitor analytics to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Innovation & Competitor Analysis : Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings in the streaming space, driving innovation to differentiate Fox Nation in a crowded market.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Experience : Experience in product management, while working on streaming platforms, digital media, or similar products.
• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive successful product outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of technical aspects of streaming platforms, including video delivery, content management, and user experience design.
• Analytical Mindset : Data-driven approach with experience leveraging analytics and user insights to inform product decisions and measure success.
• Customer-Centric Approach : Deep passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences that resonate with users.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

• Experience working in media, entertainment, streaming or news-related products.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• High proficiency with Atlassian tools.
