No Remote Ocean Import Coordinator
My client is expanding their Ocean Import team, so we are looking for a dynamic, detail oriented and motivated professional for the position of Ocean Import Coordinator.
You will be working for a world leader in one stop shop solutions that includes freight forwarding to customs brokerage, and warehousing to domestic transportation.
My client also deploys unique solutions that allows their customers to optimize the supply chain of their food products.

JOB SCOPE :
As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will work closely with other professionals in operations and will have a variety of interesting and challenging responsibilities.
They include ensuring that shipments adhere to customers requirements; tracking shipments; working with clients to reduce duty costs;
working with billing to bill on time; as well as working with other business critical information.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES :
- Follow up on all import related files for designated accounts as per your direct Supervisor / Manager.
- Opening files, data entry into logistics software, sending arrival notices and commercial documents to all applicable parties.
- Executing delivery orders when applicable, assuring delivery of cargo when needed. Communicate all phases of their service to customers, vendors, and internally.
- Bill all applicable files on time.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :
- Experience with Cargowise
- Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 plus excellent Excel skills
- Flexibility with hours & able to alternate schedules with Managers
- Excellent C / S skills
- Professional written & verbal fluency in English
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally & via email.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- 3 years minimum experience in Import Operations
- High School diploma or equivalent
PAY / BENEFITS :
- $45K-$65K Salary
