As a Territory Sales Manager specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated geographic area.
Your primary objective will be to identify potential customers, build and maintain strong relationships, and promote HVAC products and services to achieve revenue targets.
You will work closely with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies, while also staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with senior management to develop comprehensive sales strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.
- Territory Management : Efficiently manage a designated sales territory, including identifying key prospects, prioritizing sales opportunities, and developing action plans to maximize revenue growth.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding their needs, providing exceptional service, and offering solutions tailored to their requirements.
- Product Knowledge : Develop a deep understanding of the company's HVAC products and services, including their features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Sales Presentations : Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, highlighting the unique selling points of HVAC products and services and addressing any concerns or objections.
- Negotiation and Closing : Negotiate terms and pricing with customers to secure profitable contracts and close sales deals within the designated territory.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to monitor progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats to the business.
- Team Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Continuous Learning : Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and industry events to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and professional development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in HVAC sales or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., HVAC Excellence, NATE) are a plus.
