JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team for various concert events at the Acrisure Arena. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the sale of merchandise, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for concert attendees.
This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for music, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for concert attendees.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise and provide product information, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is organized and adequately stocked.
- Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a high-performing sales environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security protocols to ensure the safety of merchandise and cash handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including regular tidying and restocking of merchandise.
- Attend pre-event meetings and training sessions to familiarize yourself with product details, event protocols, and customer service guidelines.
JOB SKILLS AND TRAITS
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage and connect with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on concert schedules.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift / move merchandise, as needed.

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $21 p / h. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer.
In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth.
