Bright Vision Technologies has a immediate opportunity for a Data Modeler based out of Plano, TX.(Hybrid).

Candidate must have work on our W2. Third party candidates are not eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building the tools and frameworks necessary to make our data teams more efficient and effective
• Lead multiple large and complex initiatives across Toyota Financial Services data engineering with a specific focus on data modeling, data architecture, and data tool & product development
• Establish a clear vision and direction for data tooling for data engineers, software engineers, and our analytic teams
• Enable our data engineering teams by developing tools and frameworks to streamline and accelerate the development of data pipelines and data solutions
• Support our global partners by developing flexible solutions and platforms that can be used within Toyota Financial Services but also in partner organization in other countries
• Own the Enterprise data model and data modeling standards for both data engineering and software engineering teams

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent degree or work experience
• Progressive work experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field or demonstrated expertise
• Deep development experience in distributed, analytical, cloud-based and open-source technologies
• Extensive programming experience in Python and / or Java, SQL
• Extensive experience coding and implementing data pipelines in cloud-based data infrastructure, analytical and no-SQL databases (AWS, Snowflake, MongoDB, Postgres)
• Broad, practical experience and application of multiple, different data modeling techniques such as data vault and dimensional modeling across Enterprise domains
• Broad experience with cloud based services such as AWS, Azure or GCP or equivalent certification
• Broad experience with docker and containerization
• Experience with multiple database technologies including both SQL and NOSQL databases
