MVHS is offering a sign-on bonus for new and experienced RNs!

• RNs with up to 3 years of relevant experience qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. *
• RNs with 3 or more years of relevant experience qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. *

This bonus will be paid over the course of two years working at MVHS and will scale based on experience and employee status when hired.

Job Summary

At MVHS, a Registered Nurse promotes and restores patient's health by completing the nursing process : collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing support to patients, visitors and families.

A Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, promoting and evaluating quality patient care, as well as providing teaching to patients, families and the public.

A Registered Nurse will follow the mission, vision, I-CARE values, policies and procedures of Mohawk Valley Health System.

Join an exciting team of professionals as an emergency room nurse at our new, state of the art, 64 bed emergency department at the Wynn Hospital.

As an ED nurse you will be responsible for quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs, collaborating with doctors and staff to provide exceptional care, and managing multiple cases simultaneously all while continually prioritizing patient needs.

Other duties and responsibilities include maintaining accurate and up to date patient charts, complying with all legal and safety requirements, and working at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care.

Registered Nurses within our Emergency Department team have many shift opportunities including days, nights, and weekends with opportunities for full-time, part-time and per-diem positions.

Pay Range $34 - $48 Hourly

Education / Experience Requirements

Required :

Graduate of an accredited associate degree program

Preferred :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree.

Previous Nursing Experience

Licensure / Certification Requirements

Required :

Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse

Preferred :

Basic Life Support Certification
