We are in search of a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will play an integral part in managing payroll operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our processes.
This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.
Responsibilities :
- Streamline Employee Life Cycle to improve productivity and control
- Support the implementation of strategic projects
- Manage complex, multi-state, multi-frequency payroll and provide necessary support to the team
- Ensure end-to-end payroll activities are compliant with legal and internal compensation policies
- Assist with Gross to Net calculations and recovery activities for overpayment procedures
- Resolve customer service cases in line with Key Performance Indicators
- Contribute to Year-End payroll processing activities and other payroll impacting projects
- Assist with audit engagements, ensuring all information requests are fulfilled
- Recommend compliance measures with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Use problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve issues, providing expertise on payroll operations
- Contribute to system testing to ensure successful implementation of changes to tools, processes, or systems
- Handle payroll calculations, reports, and queries while conducting audits to maintain data integrity and process improvements.
- Proficiency in handling payroll for over 500 employees
- Familiarity with SAP Payroll / ADP Globalview OR Workday Payroll systems
- Experience in processing multi-state payroll
- Proficiency in garnishment calculations
- Certified Payroll Compliance Professional or similar qualification
- Ability to ensure adherence to payroll compliance regulations.
