Occupational Therapist, Home Health
Become an integral part of our caring community as a Home Health Occupational Therapist.
- Assess and develop therapeutic retraining programs for patients in their homes
- Collaborate with the patient's healthcare team and participate in plan development / revision
- Provide therapeutic treatment to improve strength, coordination, and function
- Review and expand retraining programs to meet patient's goals
- Coordinate with vocational team members and community resources
- Design community reintegration activities and recommend adaptive equipment
- Provide training to staff and family members for retraining programs
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistant and Home Health Aide performance
- Accurately document patients' care and observations
Required Experience / Skills :
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Minimum of six months occupational therapy experience preferred
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
