Soliant Education is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in the Georgetown, TX area.
This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to 9th-grade students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The ideal candidate will be licensed and passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' educational goals.
- Provide differentiated instruction to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Texas state teaching license with Special Education endorsement or ability to obtain one.
- Experience working with 9th-grade students with SLD and ASD preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, policies, and best practices.
