HR Associate/Generalist
Job Description
Position Summary :
The HR Generalist position participates in the day to day operations of the Human Resource office through administration of policies, procedures and programs.
Share in the responsibility of all HR related functional areas including payroll administration, benefits, Human Resource Information Systems and hourly recruiting.
Responsibilities :
- Support payroll and benefit activities
- Help plan employee relations recognition events
- Counsel employees with work related issues
- Recruiting of hourly employees through the required recruiting tools and software
- Maintain records for EEO and affirmative action reporting
- Work with managers for day to day labor needs and manage production labor per the union contract
Qualifications
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Internships / co-ops in HR required
- Must possess the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards
- Must possess good interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution
Prefer Qualifications
- Experience working in a union facility
- 2+ years experience in HR
