About The Position
Job Title : Echocardiography Technologist / Technician Job Specialty : Echo Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8-hour day shift, 07 : 00-15 : 30 Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week Experience : Minimum 1.
5 years of recent, relevant experience License : Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License Certifications : RDCS or RCS via ARDMS;
Pediatric Certification required Must-Have : Pediatric certification in echocardiography Job Description : Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce images for diagnostic interpretation.- Collaborate with physicians to analyze results and determine further diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards within the medical imaging field.- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
- Participate in patient education and answer any questions regarding procedures.- Uphold high standards of patient care and ensure a respectful and compassionate environment.
- Orient and mentor new staff members as needed.
