Overview
Rutgers University-Newark seeks a Site Coordinator for the Joseph C. Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies. The Site Coordinator will support the implementation of the Promise Youth University, Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center (PYU-21st CCLC), and New Ark Freedom School Programs at 13th Avenue Elementary School. The Promise Youth University serves up to 130 students in grades 3–8, including students with special needs, and features STEAM-themed programs. This position reports to the Project Director. This position is contingent upon continuation of grant funding.

Responsibilities
Assist the program director with coordinating the 21st Century program delivery at 13th Avenue School, managing daily operations, and ensuring program delivery aligns with approved grant applicationsSupervise direct service staff and serve as liaison among students, teachers, partners, and school administration to support effective program deliverySupport youth development in all aspects of after-school programming; assist with program setup with the Project DirectorSupport the execution of special program events (e.g., family engagement nights, national day of social action, Lights On after-school)Attend required trainings (New Staff Orientation, Site Coordinator Orientation (Freedom School), Ella Baker Child Policy Training)Work with the Project Director to ensure curricula and models are implemented with fidelityMaintain accurate and timely data records; collaborate with the Data Manager to collect and analyze data to monitor program progress toward goalsQualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent, and / or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant, or related experience depending on dutiesAn equivalent combination of education and / or experience may be substituted for the experience requirementRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
