Weare looking for a Paralegal to work in Kansas City MO supportingourclient.
Salary : $20.94 hour with $4.41 for Health andWelfare
Hours : Monday Friday 8 : 30am5 : 00pm
Mustbe able to obtain aclearance.

Qualifications :
- Requiresparalegal certificate JD or currently attending an ABAaccreditedlaw school having completed at least one year ofstudy.
- Oneyear of legal training or legal experience or at least two years ofcollege education may be substituted for the paralegalcertificate.
- Additionallyat least one year of litigation paralegal experience or projectexperience (as related to the task order) is required;
trialexperience veryhelpful.
- Automatedlitigation support experiencevalued.
- Musthave basic legal knowledge including knowledge of standard legalcitation to cite check legal motions and memorandum and must havesufficient experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS andWestlaw to perform basic legalresearch.
- Requiresexcellent written and oral communication skills thorough knowledgeand handson familiarity with a variety of computer applicationsincluding word processing databases (such as document review andfile management systems) spreadsheets imaging and hardwaresystems.
- Rolealso requires basic familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge ofeDiscovery procedures andresources.
- Abilityto consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressurewill be veryimportant.
JobDuties :
- Collectscourt ordered restitutions and fines of criminal and civildefendants.
- Draftslegal documents and files legal documents using the ElectronicCourt Filing system(ECF)
- Preparesgarnishments liens and other legal process documents forcollection.
- Sendsdemand letters files liens run credit reports prepares and submitssubpoenas.
- Managesand tracks collection activity in an internaldatabase.
- Communicateswith and coordinates collection activity with AUSAs in the MonetaryPenalties Unit(MPU).
- Completesfact research in public information databases and other researchdatabases to gather information and identifyassets
