This is a Flexi / PRN position in Charlottesville, VA.

Cornell 2 : Our Medical / Surgical Unit specializes in Neuro Oncology, urology, vascular, and chest tube care, providing a dynamic environment for experienced nursing professionals and new graduates.

With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 5 / 1 : 6, you'll develop your skills while receiving mentorship from experienced staff.

We care for a diverse patient population, including those with CHF, COPD, oncology patients with neutropenia or new diagnoses, amputations, and tracheostomies.

Operating on 12-hour shifts with weekend rotations, we offer comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development to foster collaboration and growth in your nursing career.

Requirements :

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse License
• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
• Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License
• BLS Required within 90 days of hire.

Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
