Adjunct Instructor (Multiple Positions) (Part Time) - SGPP Posting Number req20116 Department School of Govt & Public Policy Department Website Link Location Main Campus Address Tucson, AZ USA Position Highlights The School of Government & Public Policy at the University of Arizona seeks multiple Adjunct Instructors (part-time, non-tenure eligible, non-benefits eligible) for the Fall 2024 semester (08 / 26 / 2024 - 12 / 11 / 2024) with experience in teaching one or more of the following areas : public policy, political science, and criminal justice studies.
Positions are available to teach at the undergraduate- and graduate-level coursework for the MPA and MPP programs at the Main Campus in Tucson, AZ.
Specifically, undergraduate coursework includes PA451 : Evidence-Based Policing and graduate coursework includes PA 521 : Utility Management.
All Courses needing instruction are held in-person unless otherwise noted.

Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include :
- Instruct students, depending on experience and field of study.
- Plan class lectures and assignments.
- Grade papers and exams.
- Assign projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree with at least 5 years of professional experience in related subject relevant to class assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Political Science, Public Policy, or related subject relevant to class assignment.
