Job Summary

This position will support the Vistra Energy Retail Financial Planning and Analysis team with a focus on the following :

Driving financial projections, analysis of actual results, and internal / external reporting packages

Coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders including Retail Sales and Operations, Accounting, Risk, and Wholesale Supply teams analysis.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead Retail financial performance analysis across multiple lines of business and regional markets throughout the country
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and communicate results to business leaders
• Structures, plans and coordinates the financial projection and internal / external reporting processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy
• Hold others accountable, maintain deadlines, and ensure a well-organized process with a focus on continuous improvement
• Understand interaction of financial drivers and drill into variances to Plan and prior year to find meaningful business impacts

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 5+ years of progressive Finance / Accounting experience
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical skills
• Experience working with data and ability to query and analyze data in an efficient manner
• Working knowledge of key financial, accounting and business metrics
• Ability to interface with and resolve issues with multiple stakeholders

• Ensure that budgets and financial plans submitted by lines of business, and provide constructive feedback to businesses
• Solve problems that require constructive thinking and imaginative approaches using data-driven analysis
