Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades.
We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design / build consultation.
The carpenter position works with the Carpenter Foreman in performing all activities related to fabrication and setup of forms for all precast concrete products fabricated in the plant, as well as performing miscellaneous carpentry work as directed by management.
Responsibilities :
- Take customer orders and execute delivery of product.
- Work with in-house and out of house drivers to plan number of loads daily.
- Communicate with Quality Control staff to ensure product is ready to ship.
- Answer and return Customer phone calls in a timely manner and handle issues swiftly and professionally.
- Manage relationship with outside trucking broker(s) to maintain service quality, capacity, and freight budget.
- Address product quality or service gaps with Staff / Vendors and implement procedures to prevent future instances.
- Assist with the management of Customer receivables / credit to minimize impacts on future shipments.
Requirements
- Prior experience in similar role required
- Strong understanding of DOT laws and regulations required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) (outside customers and inhouse staff)
- Strong computer experience and knowledge in MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
