Base pay range

$55,000.00 / yr - $70,000.00 / yr

This is a managerial position that plays a crucial role in the success of +COOP, overseeing all the retail responsibilities within the shop.

We are looking for someone reliable, action-oriented, assertive, and personable. The Retail Manager will coordinate all aspects of store operations, including staff management, scheduling, clienteling, customer service, sales strategy, and inventory control.

All Retail Associates report to the manager. Overall, a +COOP Store Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store runs efficiently, meets sales targets, and provides excellent customer service.

The job includes : sales projections and goals, managing the inventory flow from receiving to tagging, transferring inventory between +COOP and any separate locations, responding to customer emails and fulfilling online orders.

While the manager is ultimately responsible for all these areas, they are able to delegate portions of this work to the other retail employees on the floor.

Staff Management :

  • Hire, onboard, train, and develop store associates to ensure a knowledgeable and motivated team.
  • Schedule staff shifts to meet business needs while considering employee availability and costs of labor.
  • Conduct routine performance evaluations and provide feedback to encourage professional growth and an engaged team.
  • Educate staff on proper inventory handling, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain personalized relationships with customers to enhance their shopping experience and drive loyalty to inform clienteling.
  • Work closely with in-store teams, such as Trade and Furniture Programs.
  • Oversee the other Retail Associates working on any given day, including delegating responsibilities.
  • Maintain a well-organized stockroom with attention to detail and with the ability to shift spaces to make room for fluctuating inventory.
  • Work with the Merchandiser and Buying Team to ensure that the floor is appropriately merchandised.

Inventory Management :

  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and loss prevention.
  • Enroll team members to manage inventory appropriately.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with Merch and Buying Team for restocking and managing product deliveries and receiving.
  • Oversee the shipping and online team to ensure a seamless online shipping experience for customers.
  • Support e-commerce team members in product updates and photoshoots for website.
  • Manage inventory between locations and Real Estate staging.
