Shift : 12-hour Days or Nights (Variable Shifts Available)
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) RN for a 13-week contract position in Montgomery, AL. This role involves providing perioperative care, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care to patients.
- Assist the surgical team by managing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any complications during surgery.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal care.
Requirements :
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong understanding of surgical techniques and sterile field management.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts as needed.
