The Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Childrens Hospital of Michigan is actively seeking experienced Academic General Pediatricians for full-time or part-time opportunities.
About the Division :
The Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Childrens Hospital of Michigan specializes in the care of patients from 0 through 22 years old.
Our division provides comprehensive primary care services and complex care for children with congenital disorders, behavioral health challenges, graduates from neonatal intensive care, genetic disorders and musculoskeletal disorders.
We are Michigans largest pediatrician training program. We also provide training for Internal Medicine-Pediatric and Family Medicine Residents.
We serve as a clinical rotation site for medical students, nursing students, nurse practitioner trainees, social work interns and psychology interns.
Opportunities for academic collaboration within the division and with other specialists exist.
We participate in local, state, and federal advocacy endeavors to ensure the continuation of quality service for patients and families.
Candidate Requirements :
- Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatrics
- Must have at least 2 years of experience post-training
- Academic experience which may include medical student, resident, or fellow perception; curriculum development; evaluation and skills assessment
- Must be eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Michigan
