Vitability Health is seeking an experienced and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling appointments and coordinating daily operations.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

  • At least 4 years of experience in scheduling coordination, medical office administration, or a related field
  • Bilingual spanish speaking
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures
  • Technically savvy.
  • Interest in professional leadership growth and development opportunities with a growing organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of mapping and routing software to calculate distances and travel time.

Responsibilities :

  • Schedule appointments for patients in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring optimized schedules and taking into account travel time and distances between appointments
  • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to coordinate appointments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Assist with billing and insurance related tasks
  • Provide support to the clinical staff as needed
  • Calculate distances and travel time to ensure the staff on the road can get to all scheduled appointments
