PositionInformation :
The Clinical Nurse is responsible forproviding total comprehensive nursing to patients and theirfamilies through the implementation of a plan of care.
The plan isbased upon the patient's developmental and health care needsidentified through the assessment of the patient's physicalpsychological socioeconomic status and physician orders regardingcare treatment and education.
The Clinical Nurse understands theneeds of the organization and supports the mission values andmanagement of patient care services.
The Clinical Nurse activelysupports and incorporates ANA Scope and Standards of NursingPractice North Carolina Board of Nursing Practice Act WakeMed'sDivision of Nursing Professional Practice model and WakeMed'sPatient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model.
- The four keyconcepts of PFCC are : Dignity and Respect Listen to and honorpatient and family perspectives and choices; Information Sharing Communicate and share complete and unbiased information withpatients and families in ways that are affirming and useful;
- Participation Patients and families are encouraged and supportedin participating in care and decision-making at the level theychoose;
