Clair Global is seeking a Cabinet Assembler / Technician to join the team! The Cabinet Assembler / Technician is responsible for performing at a high production level in a fast-paced woodshop environment.
Collaborate with woodshop team to efficiently and accurately assemble wood speaker cabinets. There are openings for both 1st and 2nd shift positions.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
- 3+ years of cabinet assembly and wood shop experience preferred.
- Mastery of common wood shop tools and equipment.
- Practical Shop Skills Assessment will be performed during interview process.
- Experience with reading and building from assembly prints.
- Familiarity with both Imperial and Metric measurement units.
- Experience in wood sanding and finishing techniques.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and experience in production work flow.
- Possess strong critical thinking skills and work independently.
- Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week if required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Duties include all tasks involved with wood machining, preparation and assembling of wood speaker cabinets.
- Cabinet Assembly
- Table Saw Operation (Bevels, Rabbets & Dadoes)
- Compound Miter Saw Operation
- Router Table Operation
- Hand Router Operation
- Fixture & Jig Making
- Read CAD prints and perform standard measurement calculations.
- Document work and maintain quality control records.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Follow directions and communicate issues effectively.
- Work towards continuous improvement and efficiency.
