Job Overview :
The RBI Global FP&A and Corporate Development team is responsible for the financial analysis at RBI, sourcing new investment opportunities, preparing financial models, due diligence analysis and internal approval material preparation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates consolidation and analysis of results and forecasts across all regions, brands and corporate functions
- Supports preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual presentations on financial results for review by senior management and RBI’s Board of Directors
- Supports the preparation of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer’s presentations to the Board on a quarterly basis
- Supports creation and presentation of RBI’s annual budget across the full P&L down to EPS
- In partnership with the Director, FP&A and Corp Development, owns RBI’s long-term financial model for usage in strategic planning exercises, impairment testing, tax analyses and other longer term planning requirements
- Works closely with accounting to understand the impact of current and future guidance to manage risk in a sustainable way for the business
- Fosters relationships across business units to stay up to date on recent performance trends, risks, opportunities and other updates, with the expectation of providing updates to the senior management team on a regular basis
- Supports analysis and execution of strategic Corporate Development opportunities
- Prepares financial models, presentations and diligence materials for assessment of strategic opportunities
- Conducts due diligence analysis and works with internal and external legal counsel
- Prepares internal materials for leadership team and, where applicable, Board approval
- Manages internal update presentations, including the weekly team updates, executive committee update and leadership offsite updates
Requirements
- Undergraduate Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Finance preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in investment banking, venture capital or private equity
- Prior experience in financial modeling
- Strong communication skills ability to collaborate with people in different departments across the organization and with third parties
- High level of curiosity interest in all areas of the business and big trends in the industry
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
