Occupational Therapist

Description

The position plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.

Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Functions as an interdisciplinary team member. Provides assistance to co-workers, patients, and visitors as needed.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree Occupational Therapy.
• Upon hire : California Occupational Therapist License
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 30 days of hire : California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization
• Work experience in Physical Disabilities Setting.
• Experience in working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience as an Occupational Therapist.
