Requirements :

• ActiveDoD SECRET clearance.
• CurrentDoD8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security CE).
• Experiencetroubleshooting issues with software applications networkingWindows OS or Linux OS.
• Experienceperforming system administration tasks installing maintainingmonitoring recovering rebuilding upgrading patching.
• Experienceresearching technical solutions beyond internal SOPs.
• Willingnessto work with multiple technologies and be open to learning newtechnologies.
• Motivatedselfstarter with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimalsupervision in the fulfillment of daily operations and sustainmentactivities.
• Abilityto demonstrate good judgement professionalism and communicateclearly (verbal and written).
• S trongproblem solving critical thinking and analytical skills.

DesiredQualifications (not required but a hugeplus) :

• Experienceconfiguring and maintaining network devices switches routersfirewalls VPNs.
• Experiencewith scripting or automation tools.
• Experiencewith VMWare ESX / ESXi vCenter vSphere.
• Experiencewith AD SCCM SQL MySQL SELinuxDNS.
• Knowledgeof networking concepts such as OSI Model LAN / WAN IPv4 / IPv6subnetting and VLANs.
• Experiencemaintaining systems and services in an airgapped environment.
• Knowledgeof security policies such as DISA STIGS and general vulnerabilitiesmanagement.
• Certificationswith major system vendors such as Microsoft Red Hat VMware CiscoJuniper or Aruba.

JobDuties :

• Monitorand maintain an enterprise services environment consisting ofWindows servers Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and networkappliances.
• Assistmission partners with mobile device VPN connectivity debugging useraccount and device management and troubleshooting system / serviceaccessissues.
• Performconfiguration updates and maintenance activities to patch secureand maintain systems.
• Respondto and help analyze issues that degrade system or networkperformance to minimize downtime
• Addressmoderately complex technical issues using internal SOPs andcollaboration with team members.
• Helpcreate and update documentation for common issues and processes tocontribute to the team s knowledge base.
• Provideinput on ways to optimize processes and improve the efficiency ofthe environment.
• Worknonstandard hours (night weekends holidays) in support of 24x7x365operations andenvironment

Experience with scripting or automation tools. Experience withVMWare - ESX / ESXi, vCenter, vSphere. Experience with AD, SCCM, SQL,MySQL, SELinux, DNS.

Knowledge of networking concepts such as OSIModel, LAN / WAN, IPv4 / IPv6, subnetting and VLANs. Experiencemaintaining systems and services in an air-gapped environment.
