Job Description :
As a Production Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials within our facility.
Your responsibilities include :
- Forklift Operation : Safely operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Safety Standards : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Material Handling : Move and organize materials efficiently, including loading and unloading trucks, stacking products, and organizing warehouse spaces.
- Inventory Management : Use RF scanners or handheld devices to track and manage inventory accurately.
- Routine Maintenance : Conduct routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Team Collaboration : Work alongside warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
- Skills : Strong understanding of forklift operations, safety practices, and material handling.
- Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and operate machinery in a fast-paced environment.
- Age Requirement : Must be 18 years or older due to machinery and equipment use.
Working Conditions :
- Location : This role is based in Franklin, Indiana.
- Environment : You will work in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving machinery.
- Shift : This position is for the 3rd shift (8 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM), Rotating Shift.
