Salary : $34-$39 / hr
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in resource settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and accommodate students' needs.
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of students' performance and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid teaching license in the state of Minnesota with a certification in Special Education.
- Experience working in a resource setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students with special needs achieve their full potential.
