Overview :

Assist Medicare and Pre-Medicare eligible retirees in selecting the appropriate health plans. As a Virtual Benefit Advisor, individuals will be able to handle all responsibilities from the comfort of their home office.

The Licensed Virtual Benefit Advisor’s responsibilities include selling and enrolling retirees into appropriate insurance products including but not limited to health prescription drug, vision, dental plans and advising Pre-Medicare eligible recipients of their options.

This is done primarily through providing Medicare education, conducting needs analysis, and assisting the retirees in selecting an appropriate plan for their needs.

Customer service assistance is also offered within or outside of sales process.

Job Responsibilities :

• Ability to consistently provide a WOW experience at all customer touchpoints
• Enroll retirees compliantly and efficiently by reading scripting verbatim
• Outbound phone calls to pre-set appointments, generate direct to consumer leads
• Meet and / or exceed KPIs, deliver exceptional customer service experience
• Handle inbound service calls by providing accurate and complete information
• Actively manage all assigned appointments to ensure all retirees needs are met on a timely basis
• Respond to voicemails within 24 hours, internal chat requests, handle and resolve customer complaints and / or client escalations
• Absorb new information and have the flexibility to adapt to new processes rapidly
• Ability to process a wide range of complex details and articulate the details in simple terms to customers with varying levels of knowledge and education

Experience :

• Health Producer license with either a Health; Life, Accident & Health; or Accident & Health LOA.
• HS Diploma / GED
• Medicare sales experience is preferred
• Must be very communicative throughout the onboarding process.

Logistics :

Licensing : Agents must obtain the Resident state licensure required by their Resident state to sell Health products including any additional LOA or riders required by the DOI of the agents’ Resident state.

Agents must be fully released from prior appointments at time of hire. Release letter required prior to start date.

Hours of Operation : Agents will need to be able to work ANY assigned shifts , no accommodations or special requests for specific shifts will be permitted.

Closing talent would need to be able to work until all outbound appointments or inbound calls are completed. These shift times will be communicated during the training period.

Shift patterns could include a mix of 8.5x5, 9x5, 10x4, split schedules, split days off, and base scheduling model. Base scheduling consists of expectation for staff to be able to accommodate shifting start and end times on a weekly basis.

• Training Hours : 8am-430pm EST (mandatory - no time off accepted)
• Business Hours : 8am-8pm EST (7am-10pm EST during peak)
• Training Period : 8 weeks of training. Alight provides the training materials.
• Equipment : Provided. Bandwidth required is 50Mbps.
