Job Description : NIGHT WATCH RESIDENT ADVISOR
Time commitment : 24-29 HOURS PER WEEK
Job Status : Non-Exempt
Job Type : At Will Employee
Starting Wage : $17.50
The night watch mentor is the person who is directly responsible for the physical safety and security needs of each student during nighttime hours as well as select clerical and custodial needs of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Learn and become competent in use of interpersonal tools for interacting with residents
- Monitoring and maintaining boundaries around tech usage and other limits set by therapists
- Performing recurring student safety checks as directed by therapist / supervisor
- Enforcing students rules as needed
- Charting in each student’s medical record as mentor
- Communicating and reporting to shift supervisor
- Supporting and assisting all other Telos departments in their job descriptions (i.e., nursing general cleaning and maintenance, answering telephones) as allowed by staffing ratios
- Special assignments and additional duties as required by supervisor
- Complying with and carrying out nighttime building and security protocols
- Comply with all safety directives / protocols established by supervisor / director
- Assisting in filing and charting as assigned and as needed
- Administration of medications as needed

- Must provide your own food or eat snacks set aside for Night Watch
- Only one headphone in at a time while on shift, listening at a low volume
