This job with located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The houses will start at 6 million.

Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager for our Construction team. This role is instrumental in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget by managing all aspects of purchasing and procurement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing analysis, database management, Excel, pricing analysis for GMP's, project database management, data analysis, reporting, bidding and negotiation, and setting up automation for design studios.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and execute all aspects of purchasing activities in support of construction projects, from initial bidding to final payment.
  • Perform detailed pricing analysis for GMP's to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Maintain and manage project databases, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and reporting to provide insights on purchasing trends, cost savings opportunities, and areas of potential risk.
  • Develop and implement bidding and negotiation strategies to secure the best possible terms on materials, equipment, and services.
  • Set up automation for design studios to streamline and enhance the purchasing process.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure all purchasing activities align with project objectives and timelines.
  • Continually assess and improve purchasing processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and new products to inform purchasing strategies and decisions.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Purchasing Analyst role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in database management and Excel.
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis for GMP's and project database management.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in bidding, negotiation, and procurement processes.
  • Experience setting up automation for design studios.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and highly analytical, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A professional certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management would be an advantage.
