Swanson Martin & Bell, LLP has an opening for an experienced Receptionist for our St. Louis office. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, able to manage busy attorneys, and work well independently.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, including entering billable attorney time into the company system and correspondence with the administration on new matters to the firm
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must possess interpersonal and exceptional customer service
- Basic understanding of administrative / clerical procedures and systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is a must
