Community Manager

Responsibilities :

• Administrative / Financial : Manage deadlines, maintain records, respond to resident complaints, oversee the application process, ensure lease compliance, handle vendor communication, and assist in financial tasks like rent adjustments and report submissions.
• Leasing and Marketing : Show properties to prospective residents, conduct market surveys, manage advertising accuracy, and promote referral programs.
• Owner / Resident Relations : Maintain positive relations, enforce policies fairly, and manage move-ins / outs with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Personnel Management : Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring operational goals are met.
• Property Maintenance : Inspect properties, supervise contractors, coordinate maintenance, and implement safety measures.

Requirements :

• 1-3 years in accounts receivable, payable, and customer service within a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel; knowledge of property management software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification (CMCA) from the Community Association Institute (CAI) preferred.
• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :

• Ability to navigate the property, including stairs.
• Office environment with standard equipment.
• Regular property inspections outdoors.

Skills :

• Strong customer service background.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and third-party software.
