Essential Functions
Manages development and delivery of clinical and procedural training, including creating and managing updates for key forms, training manuals, training program and agenda for CBCP / PAC and other clinical service programs.
Ensuring all modifications to the program are in line with CBCP’s and PAC’s mission to serve the community and provide quality training to trainees and associates, with an emphasis on cultural competency, use of theory in practice and crisis management.
- Supports negotiations for new programs / placements, management of MOUs and contracts, and invoice generation and tracking, coordinating with JFKSOPSS Operations staff and Finance / Accounting as needed.
- Lead planning, development, implementation and management of a Community Counseling Center at the Pleasant Hill campus.
- Represents JFKSOPSS at the management level as primary liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including students, school districts and community partners
- Manage part-time staff clinical supervisors and administrative staff involved in clinical services support.
- Provide clinical supervision to program counselors, if needed, as appropriate based on licensure and licensing body requirements.
- Lead development and management of grant and endowment funding for clinical services, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Collaborates with a diverse team including the JFKSOPSS Sr. Director of Clinical Training, Director of the Whole Person Center, clinical training staff, academic program faculty and school district principals, liaisons including k-12s, community colleges and liaisons for partnered agencies to coordinate clinical placement for trainees and associates.
- Meticulous tracking of program services delivered while promptly collecting demographic data pertaining to each program to generate program success reports for review by upper management and / or partnering schools and agencies.
- Actively attends forums with other professionals in the mental health and educational fields to discuss methods to increase student and family engagement and ensure student success.
- Conducts creative outreach marketing and coordination for clinical community services to increase organizational awareness.
- Track progress of student clinicians, both NU and from other universities, and collaborate with academic programs as needed to support progress.
- Manages the budget for various clinical services programs.
- Inventories, organizes, and submits requests to order department office supplies, equipment and other resources, including training staff on equipment use, as well as conducting minor office machine maintenance and trouble-shoot software issues for staff.
- Supports outreach efforts by preparing materials and serving as Departments' representative at community events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities : This position supervises multiple clinical supervisors (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC and / or Clinical Psychologists), and administrative staff.
Supervisor’s duties to include :
- Screens applications, interviews candidates, and recommend individuals for hiring.
- Trains and assigns work to new and continuing employees.
- Delegates tasks and provides effective directions to team members to produce substantial business results.
- Independently conducts frequent performance feedback weekly, quarterly, and annually, to include annual performance evaluations.
- Makes recommendations for salary increases, merit increases and reclassifications.
- In conjunction with HR, determines corrective action as needed for direct reports.
Requirements :
Education & Experience :
- Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related clinical field, required.
- Licensed as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW and / or Clinical Psychologist in CA required.
- 5+ years of experience in similar or related roles required.
- One year of clinical supervision required; 5+ years preferred.
- Two or more years of administrative experience in a mental health clinical or academic clinical training setting preferred.
- Experience in developing and managing grant and / or endowment funding strongly preferred.
- Spanish bilingual preferred.
- Experience in team leadership like roles, such as management and or coordination.
- Experience in project / program management and or project / program coordination preferred.
Competencies / Technical / Functional Skills :
- Knowledge of legal and ethical regulations and standards of CA mental health professions.
- Experience with technical administration of EHR system(s) preferred.

- Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. Experience using Student Information System (SIS) such as SOAR / Peoplesoft systems.
Location : Hybrid. Position is based at Pleasant Hill campus.
Travel : Infrequent travel as required to attend required meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Annual Salary : $71,360.00 - $96,340.00
