The PV Ads CX team owns personalizing Ads experience for a customer on Prime Video. We work on balancing customer satisfaction, and engagement with monetization objectives by applying machine learning based solutions to customize the Ads experience.

Successful candidates will have a solid background in distributed system design, service-oriented architecture, and machine learning.

They have experience owning and maintaining highly-available, mission-critical systems. Experience in Advertising domain is a plus.

You will need to have strong problem-solving and technical abilities, great communication skills, a motivation to learn, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment with excellent analytical reasoning skills.

Key job responsibilities

As a Software Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for :

• Build / design high availability, high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Develop public-facing services and other large-scale distributed systems
• Work across teams (dependencies, downstream, peer teams)
• Handle day-to-day operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
