Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Control Inspector in Carson, CA

As a Quality Control Inspector you will :

• Perform final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures.
• Document all instances of rejected product or raw materials as material are received.
• Familiar with and able to use calipers, micrometers and gages, height gages, comparators, microscopes. (entry level experience okay, will train)
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 and familiar with AS9100.
• Able to read & interpret blue prints.
• Knowledge of geometrical dimensioning and tolerances is a plus.

This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity.

The ideal candidate will :

• Willing to train and learn company processes
• Attention to detail
• Experienced working in a manufacturing environment
• Must be comfortable with 60% admin tasks such as updating reports and reviewing requests
• Must be okay with 40-50% hands-on machine op Quality Control and inspections of finished goods

Schedule : 1st shift 6am-2 : 30pm

Pay Rate : $18-$20 per hour

Pay Rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
