Sales Application Engineer II

Hybrid position

Duties and Responsibilities :

Ensure application engineering procedures are followed by new hires during the onboarding process.
Provide valuable feedback to the Lead Application Engineer on the progress of Application Engineer I's training, assessing their development in relation to job requirements and objectives.
Demonstrate exceptional communication and mentoring skills, making training and onboarding an integral part of your daily routine.
Thoroughly and accurately analyze the technical and commercial requirements of applications.
Select the ideal products to meet these requirements.
Develop accurate cost models for both standardized and customized equipment.
Determine competitive pricing levels and realistic lead times.
Effectively communicate requirements to the internal engineering and manufacturing teams within the company.

Collaborate enthusiastically with the Sales Team to formulate and deliver compelling customer sales strategies.

Work closely with customers and the Engineering team to develop innovative custom solutions that meet application requirements.

Manage both the commercial and technical aspects of customer relationships with great attention to detail.

Establish and foster strong relationships with internal resources and the Sales Team.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical field.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an Application Engineering role, preferably at an OEM.
