We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation / Worker’s Compensation Attorney to join our growing legal team in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management : Handle a caseload of personal injury litigation and worker’s compensation matters from inception to resolution.

Legal Research and Documentation : Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Representation : Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.

Negotiation : Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.

Law and Regulation Updates : Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in personal injury litigation.

Client Interaction : Provide clients with legal advice and guidance, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

Team Leadership : Assist in building and leading the Chicago office team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Marketing and Outreach : Participate in community and networking events to establish and grow the firm's presence in the Chicago area.

Training and Mentoring : Mentor junior attorneys and staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and careers.

Compliance : Ensure all legal activities comply with ethical standards and the firm's policies.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation and / or worker’s compensation.

Proven track record of successful case outcomes.

Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ambitious and self-sufficient with a desire to grow within the firm.
