Position Overview A physician-led, multispecialty academic practice is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist / Oncologist to join its Department of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. This position offers a unique mix of clinical practice, teaching, and potential research involvement within a large safety-net health system. Health System Overview The affiliated health system includes : A 550-bed medical center Level I Trauma Center and Level I Burn Center Level III Obstetrics Unit Three psychiatric hospitals Eleven Family Health Centers (FQHCs) This broad clinical environment provides the opportunity to care for patients with diverse and complex conditions while serving the community. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology / oncology care Participate in resident and medical student education Contribute to academic and clinical research initiatives (optional) Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to support excellence in patient care Academic Affiliations The practice maintains strong academic partnerships with : Creighton University School of Medicine " Arizona Academic Alliance University of Arizona College of Medicine " Phoenix Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale Faculty appointment opportunities may be available, commensurate with qualifications.
