The Planning Analytics System Manager is an integral part of our Digital Information Delivery team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.

A Planning Analytics Manager is responsible for the work associated with designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving Phibro’s planning models and processes.

This position requires strategic, tactical and interpersonal skill sets with an eye for numbers, intellectual curiosity, proficiency at problem solving, and a critical understanding of finance, accounting, and supply chain.

The candidate must have a proven track record in data-rich analyses and be a team player. A roll up the sleeves’ approach is mandatory and a get it done’ attitude is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicating with Phibro Planning Analytics user community within IT and business functions.
  • Communicating with IBM Planning Analytics support group.
  • Designing, building, testing, and improving IBM Planning Analytics models.
  • Continually improving and supporting financial month-end close process.
  • Developing and optimizing the planning rules and processes for data transformation.
  • Managing multiple offshore developers.

  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • High degree of time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at once.
  • Planning; ability to think ahead and plan, project activities and strategy over short-terms and extended time periods.

  • Ability to perform effective public speaking presentations and provide effective written communications.
  • Able to develop detailed communications documents that are readily understood by co-workers, vendors and clients.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate verbally and in writing with others in an objective and cooperative manner.
  • Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
  • Ability to build effective teams, coach and develop others.
  • Ability to effectively present information to key managers and leadership team.
  • Must have strong team attitude and conflict resolution skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Digital Information Technology related field.
  • 10+ years in the Information Technology industry.
  • 7+ years’ experience with TM1 / IBM Planning analytics Development.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM Planning Analytics for Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading End-to-End Planning Analytics business model and application development.
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and creative in solving complex issues and working collaboratively with others on a solution.
