Site will require 24 hours to coordinate start. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to ensure the site can get you checked in and to the designated location. Upon arriving at the site, if the gate is closed, you will need to press the call button in order for the gate to be opened. Please park in the visitor parking, enter the building through the main door and complete the sign in process. Steel Toed Boots (not reimbursable) Business partners are expected to maintain an appearance that is appropriate, neat and clean, as determined by the requirements of the work area. Dress and appearance should not be offensive to customers or other business partners. Job Description :
The Packaging Operator I role is the entry level role at the Mt. Vernon facility. This role is responsible for packaging, cleaning, and relieving for breaks. This role will primarily work in the production area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spotting out-bound trucks into material load docks, ensuring dock-locks
- Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loose fill and refeeding the material to the forehearth
- Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods
