The MSP Solutions Architect plays a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients.

This position requires a deep understanding of MSP environments, advanced technical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.

The Solutions Architect will work closely with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Solution Design and Architecture :
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and constraints.
  • Design and architect comprehensive IT solutions that leverage best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop detailed technical proposals, including system architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
  • Technical Leadership :
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Client Engagement :
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct technical presentations and workshops to educate clients on proposed solutions.
  • Address client concerns and provide expert recommendations to optimize their IT environments.
  • Project Management :
  • Oversee the implementation of IT solutions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Manage project risks and issues, providing timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Documentation and Compliance :
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure solutions comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Education and Experience :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of X years of experience in a Solutions Architect role within an MSP environment.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization, and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with enterprise software and hardware solutions from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and others.
  • Certifications :
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco CCNP / CCIE, VMware VCP) are highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
