Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Practice setting is a surgical center. Documentation system used is Cerner. CRNA will work under a supervision model. Surgical cases per day range from 7 to 20, depending on case types. Pain management cases range from 0 to 10 per day. OR staff typically includes a surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and sometimes a first assist or resident. The facility has 3 operating rooms at one site and 5 at another. Patient demographics include pediatric to geriatric patients, excluding neonates.
