  • We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters
  • Full-time Nurse Aide / CNA positions on days (6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm) and afternoons (2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm) in a convent home environment in Chicago (West Peterson Ave, near neighborhoods of Lincolnwood and North Park)

Responsibilities :

Our Nurse Aide / CNA / Caregiver provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.

Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.

This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.

Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.

Education and Experience :

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
  • Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Other positions provide indirect care as dietary staff, housekeepers and maintenance workers. Additional departments provide operational support through Finance, the Office of Mission Advancement, Communications, Development, Human Resources, Program Outreach and IT.
