Focus Staff is seeking a travel First Assist Technician for a travel job in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 36 plus on call per week

Primary Location : Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, LaCrosse, WI

Shift Requirements : 9 hour days (7 : 30-5 on-call night 8-5 : 30)

Float Requirements : None

On Call / Call Back Requirements : 1 week night over night call shift (5 : 30pm to 7am the next morning); 45 minute response time

Weekend Requirement : 1 weekend per month (Friday at 5 : 30pm until Monday at 7am)

Holiday Requirements : As needed due to call

Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal : Certified Surgical Tech & AHA BLS

Minimum Experience : 2+ years experience.

Charting Experience Required : EPIC (preferred)

Primary Cases : EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Flex sigmoidoscopy. Endo and therapeutic procedures and ERCPs - REQUIRED. Experience with Boston Scientific products - they use quite a bit. Must have experience with the first tech role in ERCPs.

Required Skillset : MUST have first assist experience with ERCP's. Therapeutic procedure ERCP and EUS.

Unit Overview (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio) : GI Lab has seven procedure rooms, including one dedicated for advanced procedures. Our goal is to care for 70 patients per day in this fast-paced environment. 10-14 patients per procedure room per day
