JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS : Responsible for clinical assessment and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems, preventive care and health counseling.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to provide high quality primary health care to Penn State students.

Typically requires Master s degree or equivalent knowledge, plus two years of work-related experience. Physician assistant-certified and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania required.

This is a part-time position with up to three 8 hour shifts per week, which may include weekends. Work is primarily during the fall and spring semesters.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
