Byers Industrial Services is currently hiring for Journeyman Electricians that have experience in Commercial / Industrial work.
We are based out of a southern NJ town called Franklinville. Our customer base / services include Chemical Refineries, Glass Manufacturing.
Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, and Pet Food Processing facilities, as well as offering Emergency Service calls to all local customers in the area.

DESCRIPTION :
We are currently hiring Journeymen Electricians with at minimum 5+ years of experience. The qualities that we would expect a qualified candidate to have are outlined below :
- 5+ years of industrial or electrical experience
- NJ Electrical Journeyman's card (Preferred)
- Ability to work with others.
- Ability to take direction from peers.
- Ability to show up on time every day without delay.
- Experience in working in the industrial electric setting. (Preferred)

REQUIREMENTS :
- NJ Electrical Journeyman's card (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Electrical Code.
- Bilingual (Preferred)
- Willing to Travel to other projects outside of NJ (Preferred)
- Valid Drivers License.
- Experience in bending various types of conduit efficiently.
- Experience with different types of conduit benders.
- Ability to layout complex conduit runs.
- Rigging and executing wire pulls.
- Control system troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing.
- Read and follow electrical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Knowledge of power distribution.
- Work closely with and follow the direction of plant engineers.
- Ability to work with low voltage controls (Cat6, VFD's, PLC's, etc.).
- Flexibility in schedule and ability to work OT.
